Your favorite magazines online…Zinio is the way to go. Giveaway

If you love reading magazines and own a tablet then you want to try Zinio, the app that handles magazines the right way. A free download gives you access to over 5000 worldwide magazines.

Zinio is much more than just a reader. It is a powerful app that lets you search for magazines and buy single issues or subscribe to multiple issues and manage all your subscriptions. But there is more…every day you can browse a selection of free articles from a wide variety of magazines. Today as I write this there articles as diverse as 45 Local hikes from Backpacker to the Perestroika Pope in the New Republic and Bill Gates, Philanthropist in Bloomberg Businessweek to mention only three of dozens available for free reading.

The layout is simple whether you want to browse free content, scan your current or past subscriptions or shop for new material. It is a great way to find new magazines you may not have heard of. Zinio looks good and works well on all Tablets but I think the iPad offers the best experience. The iPad is on the left and the Nexus 7 is on the right, what do you think?

I have been using Zinio for over 3 and a half years and have watched it improve every year…it is my go to magazine app. If you’re a fan of magazines, Zinio is an excellent app for buying and storing your favorite issues. I can go back and re-read the first issue of Popular Science I downloaded in March 2010. As they’re all digital and live on your Tablet, you can tote around an entire library—something that you wouldn’t even consider doing with with printed publications.

Zinio is a free download for iOS, Android and Windows 8 or Windows RT from the appropriate app store. Why don’t you go ahead and download it and I will give you the chance to win one of 10 free subscriptions I have available for giveaway.

I have tried to install Zinio at least 3 times before on my iPad over the last year or two, and It has never worked properly. I decided to try it one last time after reading your review this morning…. 3 hours late after 4 attempts at logging in, I still get this message “a server error has occurred. Please try again later”. To me, they look like a bunch of amateurs who can’t program anything right. Every time in the past, I contacted them and their response was either very slow or incredibly inept.

I don’t understand why you are having difficuties. Over the years I have installed it on at least a dozen devices with no difficulty. Is this the only app that causes you problems? If so I would contact Zinio’s tech support. They have a chat service as well as email at

I get the same error message when trying to login to my library. It worked previously but recently I cannot access any of my magazines.

      Did you find a solution?
